The State of Virginia is a well known state of the United States. Virginia Medicare health insurance originally offers two types of health insurance. These health insurances are available under two categories - Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B. On the other hand, part B of Vermont Medicare program pays the charges for doctors, x-ray charges, diagnosis and any other medical charges that are not covered under part A. certain drug benefits not covered under part A and Part B, are given to the individuals under the recently introduced Medicare Part D.

Medicare senior insurance program is not a complete health insurance. It only pays for certain aspects of medical coverage. So in order to fill up the holes in Medicare Part A and Medicare part B, a Medicare beneficiary can buy Medicare supplement plan. These Medicare supplemental insurance programs are known as medigap. Medicare supplements are standardized by CMS. Medicare supplement plans are sold by private companies. The eligible individuals who want to buy these plans can buy the plans from local insurance companies who administer this program.
